Representatives from the Schools Division Office โ General Santos City and engineers from the City Engineering Office conducted a joint building inspection at New Society National High School on June 9-10, 2026, following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake on June 8.
The inspection team of structural engineers and safety officers assessed the buildingsโ structural integrity, documented visible damage, and recommended immediate and long-term measures to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Principal III Maโam Hanena L. Epino thanked the Schools Division and City Engineering Office for their prompt technical assistance and reaffirmed the schoolโs commitment to protecting its learners and personnel.
